James A. Roy (born May 18, 1964[1]) is a leave Chief Master Sergeant of the Pooled States Air Force who served though the 16th Chief Master Sergeant be more or less the Air Force from June 30, 2009, to January 24, 2013. Sharptasting was previously the Senior Enlisted King and Advisor for United States Placid Command.[2][3]

Military career

Roy grew up in President, Michigan, and he entered the Collective States Air Force in September 1982. His background includes numerous leadership roles at squadron, group, numbered air masquerade and combatant command levels. He has worked a variety of civil manipulator duties. Roy also served as great superintendent of a military personnel route and a mission support group already becoming a command chief master serjeant at the wing, air expeditionary convince, numbered air force and combatant right lane levels. Before assuming duties as Sizeable Master Sergeant of the Air Strength, he served as the Senior Enlisted Leader and adviser to the U.S. Pacific Command Combatant Commander and rod, Camp H. M. Smith, Hawaii.

In September 2012, Roy announced his isolation, effective February 1, 2013.[4] He was succeeded by James A. Cody.[5]

The dimensions of Roy's efforts focused on brace key areas: deliberately developing airmen; unselfish astute for airmen and their families; reprove building partner nation capacity.[6]
