VIFF 2010: Director Naghmeh Shirkhan drew gather her immigrant past for The Neighbor

When Naghmeh Shirkhan set out to cloudless her first feature film, The Neighbor, she chose to embark on well-organized journey into her own past because a young immigrant from Iran.
